Report a bug from the app

Open SlotPast’s settings and choose Report a bug. You can read the whole report first. It never contains what you copied.

The two moves

MacWindows
SaveHold , press C, tap 10Hold Ctrl, press C, tap 10
PasteHold , press V, tap the numberHold Ctrl, press V, tap the number

Plain copy, plain paste, and /Ctrl + a number on its own keep working exactly as before.

Common fixes

Nothing gets saved when I tap a number

Keep or Ctrl held down through C and the number. If you let go in between, SlotPast steps aside so your normal shortcuts still work.

On a Mac, SlotPast does nothing at all

SlotPast needs Accessibility permission to notice its shortcuts. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, switch SlotPast on, then quit and reopen SlotPast.

On Windows, another app already uses Ctrl+V + a number

Paste with Ctrl Shift + the number instead. SlotPast’s Health screen tells you when this is needed.

Pasting into an app run as administrator doesn’t work (Windows)

Windows blocks normal apps from typing into elevated windows. This is a Windows security rule, not a bug.

SlotPast doesn’t start after a restart

Mac: System Settings → General → Login Items, add SlotPast. Windows: Settings → Apps → Startup, turn SlotPast on.

The SlotPast window is blank (Windows)

The window needs Microsoft Edge WebView2, which comes with Windows 11 and up-to-date Windows 10. Install the WebView2 Runtime from Microsoft if it’s missing. The tray menu keeps working without it.

A password didn’t get saved

That’s on purpose. When a password manager marks a copy as secret, SlotPast skips it.

How do I erase everything?

Open SlotPast and choose Clear All Slots. Then uninstall it like any other app if you want to.
