The app
SlotPast is a clipboard manager. What people copy is some of the most private data on a computer: passwords, messages, addresses, work documents. So SlotPast is built so that none of it can leave your Mac or PC.
- SlotPast never sends anything you copy anywhere. Not to us, not to anyone.
- It has no telemetry, analytics, ads, crash uploader or tracking of any kind.
- It does not connect to the internet. There is no networking code in the app.
- When a password manager marks a copy as secret, SlotPast does not save it.

To erase your slots at any time, open SlotPast and choose Clear All Slots.
What SlotPast never collects
- Anything you copy or paste
- Which apps you use, or what you type
- Your name, email, computer name, IP address or location
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs or usage statistics
On a Mac, SlotPast asks for Accessibility permission. It uses it only to notice the SlotPast shortcuts (holding ⌘ with C or V and a number) and to paste. On Windows, SlotPast registers only its own shortcuts and installs no keyboard hook.
Buying a licence and signing in
When you press Buy or Sign in with browser in the app, SlotPast asks your computer to open that page in your own web browser. The app itself sends nothing. The address includes a short code made from your computer: a one-way hash, not your computer’s name or any serial number. The website uses it to issue a licence for that computer. You then paste the licence into SlotPast, and it is checked offline.
Payments are handled by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. The provider receives what it needs to take the payment, such as your email address, country and payment details, under its own privacy policy.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking scripts.
- If you join the download list, we store your email address and which computer you use (Mac or Windows) with our email provider, Resend, so we can send you the download link. We send you nothing else unless you ask. To be removed, email support@slotpast.com and we will delete it.
- The site is hosted on Vercel, which, like any web host, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep them secure.
Reports and emails you send
Report a bug in the app builds a report you can read in full first. It includes the app version, system version, plan and recent events, but never clipboard content. SlotPast does not send it: it opens in your own mail app, and you decide whether to send it. If you email us, we use your message only to help you.
Children
SlotPast collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
